In the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean, and throughout the Far East, join Sunsail and immerse yourself in the heart of the action. The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is four days of world-class racing in idyllic conditions appealing to a broad range of tastes. The regatta’s race committees provide custom-tailored racing for the thousands of sailors from more than 35 countries that come to race.
Antigua Sailing Week is a yacht regatta held at Nelson’s Dockyard, St. Johns, and is one of Antigua’s most notable events. Founded in 1967, it is cited as one of the top regattas in the world and attracts an average 100 – 200 yachts, 1500 participants and 5000 spectators on average annually.
The BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is one of the Caribbean’s premier annual racing events. It has developed a reputation for serious competition and serious partying – Seven days of perfect wind, warm water, and hot racing!
The location of this event in one of the Caribbean’s cleanest, safest and friendliest islands, where racers and cruisers are made to feel extremely welcome by all. Offering a challenging mix of sailing conditions and with more boats participating every year, the regatta continues to grow by adding more racing classes, and better courses customised to specific class needs with separate start and finish boats for increased efficiency. The regatta is quickly being established as a “must-do” regatta in the Caribbean racing circuit.
The Tahiti Pearl Regatta provides a healthy dose of friendly competition in a tropical paradise. The four-day Tahiti Pearl Regatta attracts an average of 30 yachts, both local and international, racing in and out of the numerous islands and lagoons dotted around this stunning and varied sailing area.
Since its inception in 1987, the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta has grown to become Asia’s premier yacht racing event. King’s Cup races are always hard fought affairs, although the atmosphere off the course is usually very relaxed and there is great camaraderie amongst participants. After each race, participants enjoy post race parties hosted by race sponsors. With drinks at crew-friendly prices and ample space to gather, the atmosphere of these post race gatherings is difficult to resist.
Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series is a multi-city sailboat racing circuit held throughout the United States. The overall Helly Hansen NOOD Championship takes place in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.
The Seychelles Challenge is a 7-day, 6-night Seychelles active holiday experience featuring daily sailing challenges around the iconic Seychelles Islands. This specially curated island experience is coupled with official functions and daily prize-giving ceremonies hosted at exotic locations on the Seychelles Islands.
