The design clearly stands out from the crowd with the natural light filtering through the many deck hatches. The contrasting colours and materials bring an elegant, sophisticated touch. With five cabins, and a convertible saloon, this yacht can accommodate up to twelve guests.
The Dufour 530, designed by Umberto Felci Yacht Design, is an all-purpose, modern, elegant sailing yacht. Its rigid bulwarks noticeably allow safe and seamless circulation for crew members up on deck. As the boat’s modern hull-design features a beam which widens out towards aft, the fully-equipped outdoor galley – a standard feature on Dufour boats nowadays- craftily fitted above the transom, is now even more convenient to access. The comprehensive set of sails, all fully-controlled directly from the cockpit, are a joy to handle for any seasoned helmsman, comfortably installed behind either of the twin steering wheels.
Below deck, the woodwork both reflects and warms the light flooding through the numerous portholes. As the boat is practically 5 metres wide, and has a headroom of 2 metres (excluding in the aft cabins), the overall impression is one of stunningly-large living space. The galley is cleverly positioned at the foot of the mast, thereby freeing up space for a fifth, central cabin – equipped with bunk beds – which opens up on to a vast U-shaped saloon. The Dufour 530 is the only 15m boat currently offering the incomparable luxury of having on board four separate bathrooms, two of which are even fitted with en-suite showers.

Water maker This yacht is fitted with a water maker, please note you should use this as directed in your briefing, and never in shallow waters. The water maker is not considered essential equipment, and is not covered under The Moorings 4-hour commitment. If your water maker isn't working, there are locations within your cruising grounds where you can purchase water.
