Day 1
Cannigione to Marina dell’Orso, Poltu Quatu
Your first day’s sailing takes you from our base in bustling Cannigione into the Gulf of Arzachena. Sail north before bearing east along the coast, following the contours of the Sardinian coastline until you discover the entrance to the Gulf of Poltu Quatu. This hidden inlet was once used as a hiding place for pirates, but now the only surprise waiting for you at the end of the fjord is the picturesque town of Poltu Quatu.

Day 2
Marina dell’Orso to Porto Cervo
Sail back through the narrow fjord of Poltu Quatu and bear northeast to pass the headland at Capo Ferro. Head south and you’ll soon see one of Sardinia’s most glamorous ports beckoning you in from your starboard side. Porto Cervo is home to the Costa Smeralda yacht club, and the marina is awash with both race yachts and the playthings of the rich and famous. Step ashore for a spot of boutique shopping in the pretty streets of this Sardinian jewel.

Go on an architectural tour of the Costa Smeralda, seeking out the most incredible and outlandish villas of the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Day 3
Porto Cervo to Porto Rotondo
Point your bow southeast from Porto Cervo, navigating your way past the tiny islets that poke their heads through the surf northeast of Golfo Pevero. Follow the contours of the coast south towards Porto Rotondo—your next port of call and another of the Costa Smeralda’s brightest jewels. Porto Rotondo offers excellent hiking in the nature trails just beyond the town, while snorkellers and divers will want to visit the lush waters of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area.

Ira Beach
Head for picturesque Ira Beach to swim and sunbathe at one of the most beautiful spots on the Costa Smeralda.
Suggested lunch spots
Moor in the emerald waters of Cala di Volpe, or Fox Bay. Here you’ll find a luxury resort community offering a swimming pool, golf course and plenty of bars and restaurants serving tempting lunchtime fare.
Day 4
Porto Rotondo to Porto Palma, Caprera
Retrace your steps and sail north along the beautiful Costa Smeralda. Today you’ll leave Sardinia behind, heading for the scenic Maddalena Archipelago. On Caprera’s southern shores you’ll find a large, natural harbour where you can anchor in the clear sapphire waters. Caprera is beloved of hikers, snorkellers and divers, with spectacular scenery and diverse marine life to discover in the hills and bays of this large, craggy island.

Quiet, picturesque and with a gentle arc of sand to sunbathe on, Cala Napoletana to the north of the island is a must visit
Suggested lunch spots
Surrounded by spectacular sandstone formations and lapped by the azure Tyrrhenian Sea, Cala Coticcio is an idyllic spot for a leisurely lunch break.
Day 5
Porto Palma to Cala Gavetta, La Maddalena
From the rugged natural beauty of Caprera, a short cruise to the west will take you to the sleepy and no less picturesque town of La Maddalena. Moor in the Cala Gavetta Marina to explore the warren of streets beyond and dine in local restaurants serving coastal Sardinian specialities. Hike up to the Guardia Vecchia viewpoint behind the town for panoramic views of the glittering Strait of Bonifacio.

Discover Cala Gavetta
Isola Giardinelli
Visit the beautiful Isola Giardinelli on La Maddalena’s east coast. This picturesque, craggy spot is great for a ramble and a spot of sunbathing.
Suggested lunch spots
Cala Corlotto to the west of La Maddalena is a breathtaking spot, so anchor here to swim and sunbathe amidst the beautiful Sardinian scenery.
Day 6
Cala Gavetta to Cala Corsara, Spargi
Let your keel cut through the shimmering Tyrrhenian Sea as you carve a gentle arc northwest from Cala Gavetta. You’ll see the low green hump of Spargi emerging from the ocean in the near distance. Head for the island’s southern coast and the glassy bay of Cala Corsara. This picture-postcard spot is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing in the near uninhabited splendour of this craggy Tyrrhenian jewel.

Day 7
Cala Corsara to Cannigione
On the final day of your Sardinian yacht charter adventure you’ll make the short journey from Spargi back to our base in Cannigione. Sail southeast between the Sardinian coast and the scattered islands of the Maddalena Archipelago, making for the unmistakeable mouth of the Gulf of Arzachena. It isn’t a long journey back to the marina so take the time to explore this beautiful part of the world, calling at the bays and beaches on the western shores of La Maddalena or stopping off at sleepy Isola Santo Stefano.

Sardinia and Corsica Flotilla
Day 1
Cannigione
Begin your flotilla charter with a warm welcome and refreshing libation at our base in bustling Cannigione, nestled in the northeast corner of Sardinia. Spend your first day getting to know your yacht and your new flotilla companions at our base before having the chance to explore the prosperous city, originally established as a fishing village in 1800. Tonight, you’ll sleep on board your vessel and begin your morning with a detailed yacht briefing.

Cannigione Village
The promenade near to port is a popular place to relax and unwind while eager snorkelers and divers can take advantage of a beautiful seabed that slopes gently into the ocean.
Day 2
Canigione to Caprera/Budelli
Head towards Caprera and stop off for lunch at Cala Portese before heading onto Budelli to anchor overnight. Budelli is one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Located just south of Razzoli, Budelli is especially renowned for its Spiaggia Rosa, a gorgeous pink beach on the southeast coast whose unique coloring comes from microscopic fragments of corals and shells.

Hike the Monte Budello Path
A viewpoint not to be missed in Budelli is the Monte Budello path, the highest point on the island (88 meters). To reach the mountain, take the path that starts from the caretaker’s house and climb up until you reach the top. Once you get to the top you will have a breathtaking view of La Maddalena and the Straight di Bonifaccio.
Day 3
Caprera/Budelli to Lavezzi/Bonifacio
Sail towards Lavezzi with a stop-off for lunch at Cala Ghiuncu before heading to Bonifacio, where we will be moored in port overnight. This medieval town, or City of Cliffs, is perched on a white limestone crag on the southern coast of Corsica. Known for its ecological preservation efforts of wild birds and other incredible flora and fauna, Bonifacio offers visitors timeless charm with delightful cafes, ancient houses, and sheer rock faces.

A Beach Haven
With numerous beaches to choose from, find your favorite one and create your own private nook in paradise. There are markers to help direct, no matter which way your curiosity leads you, and dazzling fish greet you when your feet hit the warm waters.
Plage du Petit Sperone
Treasured for its shallow turquoise waters and lagoon, this small beach gives you easy access to a flat walk to Piantarella, where you can explore the ancient remains of a Roman villa. This splendid coastal destination is also Corsica’s kitesurfing hot-spot.
Day 4
Lavezzi/Bonifacio to Razzoli/Porto Madonna
Sail to the bay of Paragnanu with a stop off for lunch before heading to Razzoli, part of the Maddelena archipelago, characterized by authentic, sculptural granite cliffs, unspoiled vegetation, and marine fauna. We will then be anchored overnight at Porto Madonna.

Explore the hidden coves
Cala Cappello, Cala Noce, and Cala Lunga are hidden coves only accessible by sea and are perfect for snorkellers due to the rich marine fauna and flora.
Day 5
Spargi
Sail towards Spargi, passing passed the pink beach of Budelli. Then we go to dock in the marina of La Maddalena, which is a quaint, slow-paced town of La Maddalena to moor overnight. For breathtaking panoramic views of the Strait of Bonifacio, meander the labyrinth of city streets to the Guardia Vecchia viewpoint.

Santo Stefano/Caprera
Santo Stefano is the fourth largest island in the Maddalena archipelago and the only island with traces of prehistoric settlements dating from 2500-2000 B.C. Being part of the National Park, nature is abundant with unspoiled flora and fauna. Immerse yourself in the history and beauty of these must-see stops.

Santo Stefano/Caprera
Explore Porto Palma
Porto Palma is an inlet on the island of Caprera with a beach about 1 km long, particularly protected from the winds on two sides, to the west by Monte Fico and to the east by Punta Rossa. Near the beach, continuing in the direction of Punta Coda, you reach the Caprera Sailing Center, founded in 1967 by the Milanese section of the Italian Naval League and the Italian Touring Club.
Day 7
Cannigione
Head back to our base in Cannigione for the final night onboard your yacht. As you make way, admire the active lighthouse Capo Ferro, which marks the southern entrance to the Strait of Bonifacio and to the Maddalena archipelago. Complete your flotilla adventure with a group dinner at an Agriturismo, or independently-owned farm. Here, you’ll try the Sardinian specialty of suckling pig and wrap up your island getaway satiated by flavorful cuisine and great company.
