Day 1
Marina Agana
Our base is situated at Marina Agana in Marina village, just a short taxi ride from the ancient coastal cities of Trogir and Split. Marina is a peaceful Croatian fishing village made up of cosy, terracotta roofed houses built from bright white stone. It’s an impossibly picturesque start to your Croatian flotilla holiday, and ideally situated to reach the coastal and island highlights of Dalmatia. Spend your first day exploring Split (a 40-minute taxi ride away) or kick back with a pivo (beer) in one of Marina’s waterside bars.

Marina Agana to Maslinica, Šolta
Swing west out of the bay at Agana and embark on your first day of sailing. You’ll pass the islands of Drvenik Veli and Drvenik Mali to your starboard side, eventually arriving in the picture-perfect harbour town of Maslinica. Head for the nearby beaches and bathing platforms ideal for a refreshing dip or explore the small kiosks for wine, honey, schnapps and other local products.

Day 3
Stomorska to Vis Town, Vis
Vis is the most westerly of Croatia’s large islands, so the journey from Stomorska to Vis town will take you on a blue water sailing adventure. Let the Adriatic slip by as Vis Island grows larger in the distance, enjoying a cold G&T or a bottle of local wine along the way. Vis is known for its wine and excellent fresh seafood.

Wines and vineyard
Antonio Lipanović vineyard
Located in an old military bunker a short walk from Vis Town, Antonio Lipanović is well established as one of Vis’ leading winemakers. A visit to this winery combines all that Vis has to offer; the ancient wine heritage along with the more recent military history.
Wines: Vugava, Viski Opol, Plavac Mali
The popular Vugava is made from a white grape indigenous to Vis and is often compared to Viogner. An Opol rosé and red Plavac Mali Barrique are also on offer. Sample these accompanied by local pršut (prosciutto), anchovies and cheeses in the cool of the bunker once occupied by Tito.

Reunite with your flotilla friends in Jelsa, tucked into a narrow inlet on Hvar’s north coast. Wines and vineyard
Tomić vineyard
With 150 years of family winemaking tradition and extensive training in France; Andro Tomić is at the forefront of modern wine production on the island of Hvar. Focused on combining traditional techniques with modern technologies and cultivating both indigenous grape varieties and experimenting with foreign and new grapes, the Tomić winery produces some of the best wines in Croatia.

Sample a variety of wines accompanied by carefully chosen local dishes; cheeses, hams and anchovies in the beautiful wine cellars. Modelled on ancient Roman dining rooms, a trip to the cellars themselves is a real treat and an opportunity to learn more about Hvar’s extensive history.

Bobovišće, Brac
Sail north from the marina at Jelsa and head west along the hilly coast of Brač Island. Pass the famous Zlatni Rat beach peninsula and follow the coast as it curves north. Manoeuvre through the straights just south of Šolta, and you’ll find the town of Bobovišće tucked into a forked inlet on the island’s western coast. This small, traditional village is a great place to sample authentic Dalmatian cuisine.

Wines and vineyard
Senjković vineyard
The rocky and unforgiving terrain of Brač means that the Plavac Mali grapes cultivated here are different to those found on other Dalmatian islands and this is apparent in the Senjković wines. The rustic wine cellar is full of character, with stacked barrels and old black and white family photos.
Wines: Bosso, Bročko Rić, Spoža, Prošek
Limited production capabilities and the popularity of their wines means this is the only place to sample most of the Senjković wines! Each wine is paired with a delicious homemade canapé for a real taste of Brač.
Day 7
Bobovišća to Marina Agana
It’s a short journey from Bobovišća back to our base at Marina where you need to arrive no later than 5 pm, so take the time to enjoy your final day and do a little more exploring. Visit Krknjaši Lagoon for a long lunch break in picturesque surroundings, or stop at the ancient fortified town of Trogir on your way back to marina Agana. With so much to see along the Dalmatian Coast, you’ll want to make the most of any hours you have left.

Hvar one-week flotilla
Day 1
Marina Agana – Hvar
Get to know your boat and your new flotilla companions at our base at marina Agana, a charming coastal Marina village of ramshackle Mediterranean houses and quaint waterside restaurants. The port’s convenient location gives you the chance to visit the historic and UNESCO protected harbour town of Trogir (just 15 minutes by taxi) and the ruins of Emperor Diocletian’s Palace at Split (40 minutes) before you depart, or simply relax in the Sunsail lounge or on the nearby beach.

Day 2
Milna, Brač island
After two full days of free sailing time to catch up with your flotilla crew and a new group of co-sailors from Hvar Flotilla in Milna Town on the western side of Brač Island. Brač is known for its marvelous white stone taken from the local quarry, which was even used as a building material for the Washington White House, and it gives all the local houses their glow. The long winding promenade is ideal romantic walks, and the gin and tonic party prepared for you by your lead crew is held on a spot just above the marine Vlaška, overlooking the perfect sunset.

Day 3
Milna, Brač to Jelsa, Hvar
Leave Milna and sail south, manoeuvring between the islands of Šolta and Brač and heading southeast until you reach the island of Hvar. Cruise along Hvar’s beautiful coastline studded with rolling hills and lush forests until you reach Jelsa, nestled between mountains and tucked in a lovely bay. Fall in love with Jelsa’s old world charm and explore the picturesque waterfront. Jelsa is known for its food, so find a konoba (restaurant) and sample the delicious fresh seafood and local Hvar wines.

On the way to Jelsa
The “Zlatni Rat” beach
On the way to Hvar Island you will pass by one of the nicest beaches on the Dalmatian coast. Translated “Golden Horn”, the beach is not sandy but made of the tiniest pebbles. It also moves; the currents and winds make this place unique each day. Anchoring is possible, but it may take two tries. There are also mooring buoys and a town quay. Make sure to calculate in the wind that is always present, which is also the reason why there is a great windsurfing centre on the beach. Hikers will also get a fair share of joy – Vidova gora, the highest peak of all Dalmatian islands, rewards a 2-hour hike with a once-in-a-lifetime view.
Suggested lunch spots
The small cove of Smrka features a huge entrance to an abandoned submarine shelter. Use your lunchtime break to anchor for lunch, then explore the tunnel or take a kayak around the cove.
Day 4
Stari Grad town, Hvar island
The flotilla is staying on remarkable Hvar island for another day, sailing around the northwestern tip and into the bay of Stari Grad. It is said that the Greek hero Jason and his Argonauts came here and founded the then-called Faros while looking for the golden fleece.

Nečujam bay, Šolta Island
Nečujam bay is a large cove on the northern side of Šolta island, with enough space for every yacht in this flotilla to anchor safely tucked away from any winds. It is also an ideal place to set up a dinghy race, so be prepared for some exciting competition! On down time, pick up the snorkeling gear from your lockers and check out the sunken wooden boat in the south end of the bay. The shallows of the bay are also filled with pen shells that are protected, so don’t try to take them out of the sea. To sum up a great day a group meal is arranged at a nearby restaurant.

Day 7
Nečujam, Šolta to Marina Agana
Sail into the Adriatic once more, putting the island of Šolta behind you as you return to marina Agana. Remember all the fun moments at the prize giving party in the base in the evening. On Saturday, take the time to explore Split further, chilling out on the popular promenade or searching the local markets for a few Croatian keepsakes. Make the most of your final day and soak up as much of the atmosphere as you can.

Krka one-week flotilla
Day 1
Marina Agana Krka
Marina is a typically fetching Croatian fishing village, comprised of traditional white stone homes set around a sparkling marina Agana. In easy reach of the historic harbour town of Trogir and the Dalmatian capital of Split (Trogir is 10 minutes away by taxi, Split 40 minutes), Marina is the perfect location for exploring the Adriatic. Provision up and prepare for an exciting voyage towards Krka National Park.

Suggested lunch spots
Call at the unique town of Primošten for a traditional Dalmatian meal in a waterside konoba and choose between a stay on the town quay or on a mooring buoy in crystal-clear sea next to this ancient town. Have a walk around the peninsula or sip a cocktail while lying on one of numerous pebble beaches.

It's Skradin
Aim your bow east until you reach the mouth of the Krka River. Motor upriver and bask in some of Croatia’s most spectacular scenery on the way to picturesque Skradin. Skradin is known as the gateway to the Krka Falls National Park for good reason, and from here you can take a National Park boat further inland to view the spectacular falls themselves. Krka National Park is a network of lakes, rivers and waterfalls that represent some of the most spectacular scenery in all of Croatia—this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Discover Skradin
Traditional Croatian peka
Skradin is a great place to try the traditional Croatian delicacy Peka. Peka involves cooking vegetables, meat and fish under an iron lid heaped with embers. Many local konoba serve this traditional dish, though you’ll need to order in advance.
Suggested lunch spots
Šibenik is a great place to stop for a bite to eat. This pretty riverside town with 4 fortresses, two of which are under UNESCO protection, has a number of fine restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Dalmatian dishes and great views. The first Croatian restaurant with a Michelin star is also here- right next to St. Jacob’s cathedral.

Meet up with your flotilla friends in the large, sheltered harbour of Rogoznica in time for a drink in a waterside bar. Purchase fresh fish directly from the local fishing boats as they arrive in port each morning or get to know your flotilla companions over a pivo (beer).

Day 7
Rogoznica is Marina Agana
On the last day of your Krka flotilla holiday, you’ll depart Rogoznica for Marina. Sail south from Rogoznica, keeping the small atolls around Arkanđel Island to your port side, then turn north when you reach Drvenik Mali, skirting the headland until you arrive back at marina Agana. Spend your last evening chatting with your flotilla friends in one of the many waterside restaurants or sip a cocktail as the sun sets.

Brač One Week Flotilla
Day 1
Marina Agana Brac
Marina Agana is just a 20-minute ride away from the Split airport, situated in a small town- Marina. While waiting for boarding after getting situated with check in, guests can have lunch at one of the restaurants, do their provisioning, or just hit the beach while sipping coffee or a cocktail.

Day 2
Agana Marina in Bobovishća Bay
Sunday starts with a flotilla breakfast and briefing, here you will learn details about the route, as well as ideas for the day stops for lunch. Destination for the evening is Bobovišća bay, found on the western side of Brač island, 18 nautical miles from the base, it is a small town with 2 restaurants. The bay is perfect for kayaking and paddling. Milna town with its bars and nightlife is only a 5 min taxi ride away for those looking for a night out.

Day 3
Bobovišća to Pučišća
Leaving Bobovišća bay head northeast and begin your trek around the island. Along the way the northern shore has several beautiful bays to spend an afternoon swimming or snorkeling, such as Splitska bay or Postire. Another spot on the way is Supetar town – a lively place full of tourists and hotel resorts. This evening’s overnight destination is Pučišća town, at the end of a deep and protected bay. This town boasts the deep stonemasonry tradition with a rich history waiting to be told.

Day 4
Free Sailing Day – Brač
The free sailing day is a chance to choose your own destination for the evening. To the east is Luka or Povlja bay on Brač island with excellent shelter and anchoring possibilities. Makarska town is a modern and lively town, with great night life and beaches. For hikers or nature lovers Biokovo mountain has an awe-inspiring skywalk. Sumartin town is the youngest town on Brač island, but it has the oldest ship building in the Adriatic. Bol town is on the southern tip of Brač island positioned right next to the famous Golden Horn beach. Bol is popular for windsurfers and divers, and is home to the highest peak of all Dalmatian islands. Inquire for more options on your free sailing day.

On this day take charge of your itinerary and set your own agenda. There are many options and locations to explore on the way to Vrboska to meet back up with the flotilla the next day.

Lucice bay, Brač island
It is a short sail from Vrboska to Lučice bay only 16 nm, which allows for a lot of day stops and exploring on the way. For example, make a stop on Golden Horn beach on Brač, Smrka bay on Brač and see an old submarine tunnel, or Blaca bay where one can hike to a monastery carved in living rock. Once you arrive in Lučice bay go for a snorkel and explore the caves that line the bay. Vis Two-Week Flotilla Sailing
Day 1
Marina Agana
Our base at Marina Agana in Marina Village is the first port of call on your Croatian food and wine adventure. Arrive early to explore the nearby UNESCO World Heritage towns of Trogir and Split. At marina Agana you’ll meet your new flotilla companions over dinner in the local Konoba (restaurant). We recommend the Croatian delicacy peka, prepared ‘under the bell’ in a special dish heaped with embers. This traditional baked dish is delicious with veal, lamb, or octopus.

Day 2
Marina Agana to Maslinica, Šolta Island
Sunday starts with a flotilla breakfast and the first morning briefing. There, details about the route are explained to each skipper and first mate, as well as ideas for the day stops for lunch. There are a few popular locations that are usually chosen including Krknjasi blue lagoon, or Fumija bay. The destination for the evening is Maslinica town, found on the western side of Šolta island. The once family-owned castle that resides here is now a heritage hotel adjacent to Martinis Marchi marina where the flotilla is moored up for the night. The town itself is surrounded with quiet beaches, and is filled with traditional stone houses typical for Dalmatia villages. Try the gin and tonic prepared for you by the lead crew before heading to one of the classy restaurants for a taste of local produce.

Day 3
Maslinica to Zlarin island
Push off from the dock and head north to Šibenik archipelago, on the way passing by inviting sandy bays like Stari Trogir or Vela Rina on Drvenik Mali island. Feel free to stop for a swim before reaching Zlarin town quay. This is the first Croatian island to eradicate plastic waste, and there are also no cars on the island. It is a typical example of a small Dalmatian fishing community, and time isn’t really of the essence here. Tune into the island beat, grab a coffee or “bevanda” and prepare your palette for home made specialties on your group meal in the evening. If there is time visit the local coral museum to learn more about the island’s history.

Zlarin island to Skradin
The journey to Skradin town leads through a natural canal that used to be a riverbed, guarded by St. Nicholas fortress, one of many UNESCO protected forts in Croatia. Day 6
Regoznica Town
Meet up with your flotilla friends on Thursday in Rogoznica town, on the Croatian mainland. This well-protected town has a compelling legend about a dragon in a lake, a lavender, labyrinth on the top of the hill, and numerous walking, hiking, and cycling paths to traverse, in addition to numerous restaurants and bars. The lead crew will have a group meal organized for this night and will be held close to the yachts in the centre of this old town.

Free Sailing Day – Ithaca Day 8
Put your sailing skills to the test and gain confidence on the water with your free sailing day. Set out for the secluded bays and harbours dotted around the Ionian, stopping at sleepy fishing villages along the way or just simply relax. It’s entirely up to you. No matter what you choose, your lead crew is available to give you top tips and the latest weather reports.
Day 9
Milna, Brač island
After two full days of free sailing time to catch up with your flotilla crew and a new group of co-sailors from Hvar Flotilla in Milna Town on the western side of Brač Island. Brač is known for its marvelous white stone taken from the local quarry, which was even used as a building material for the Washington White House, and it gives all the local houses their glow. The long winding promenade is ideal romantic walks, and the gin and tonic party prepared for you by your lead crew is held on a spot just above the marine Vlaška, overlooking the perfect sunset.

Jelsa, Hvar
Reunite with your flotilla friends in Jelsa, tucked into a narrow inlet on Hvar’s north coast. This beautiful, traditional town is a wonderful place to explore on foot, with countless fine restaurants, bars and cafés to discover. Jelsa is renowned as having some of the finest food and wine in the Adriatic.

Tomić vineyard
With 150 years of family winemaking tradition and extensive training in France; Andro Tomić is at the forefront of modern wine production on the island of Hvar. The flotilla is staying on remarkable Hvar island for another day, sailing around the northwestern tip and into the bay of Stari Grad. It is said that the Greek hero Jason and his Argonauts came here and founded the then-called Faros while looking for the golden fleece.

Free Sailing Day – Ithaca Day 12
Use the last of your free sailing days to explore the eastern shores of the Ionian Sea. The bays, beaches and coves of mainland Greece are yours to discover, as is the island of Kastos and the wildlife haven of Mesolongi National Park. Make the most of your final free sailing day and cruise the sailor’s playground of the Ionian Sea.

Nečujam bay, Šolta Island
Nečujam bay is a large cove on the northern side of Šolta island, with enough space for every yacht in this flotilla to anchor safely tucked away from any winds. It is also an ideal place to set up a dinghy race, so be prepared for some exciting competition! On down time, pick up the snorkeling gear from your lockers and check out the sunken wooden boat in the south end of the bay. The shallows of the bay are also filled with pen shells that are protected, so don’t try to take them out of the sea. To sum up a great day a group meal is arranged at a nearby restaurant.

Split Sailing Itinerary: Agana
Day 1
Marina Agana
Our base is situated at Marina Agana in Marina village, just a short taxi ride from the ancient coastal cities of Trogir and Split. Marina is a peaceful Croatian fishing village made up of cosy, terracotta roofed houses built from bright white stone. It’s an impossibly picturesque start to your Croatian flotilla holiday, and ideally situated to reach the coastal and island highlights of Dalmatia. Spend your first day exploring Split (a 40-minute taxi ride away) or kick back with a pivo (beer) in one of Marina’s waterside bars.

Found on the eastern edge of the lush and leafy island of Šolta, Šešula Bay is an attractive, open inlet offering safe and secluded anchorage for overnighting on board. Two local restaurants give you a choice of dining options, each with a view out over the sparkling water, and a free-of-charge mooring buoy if you decide to eat at their place.

Day 3
Šešula to Komiža, Vis
Depart early from Šešula for an exciting spot of blue water sailing as you strike out for distant Vis. Vis is the most Westerly of the Dalmatian Islands, so hope for a strong wind as you point your bow towards this Adriatic gem. Head for Vis’ western coast, where the traditional town of Komiža waits in a broad and sheltered bay. This beautiful, hill-fringed town is home to a unique waterside castle and is a great spot to try Vis’ famous wine and seafood or scuba diving.

Komiža to ACI marina Palmižana, St. Clement
Turn north at the Vis islands’ westernmost tip, pointing your bow in the direction of the spectacular Pakleni Islands. Situated just across the channel from the famous town of Hvar, Pakleni Islands are the best place to leave your yacht safely in order to discover this gem. On the biggest island in the archipelago- St. Clement, on the northern side, is the ACI marina Palmižana, the busiest marina in the Adriatic.

Discover Pakleni islands
Vinogradišće bay
This has become the most popular bay in the area, due to the excellent high-end restaurants found here, the “Laganini” beach club, and its proximity to Hvar town. Hike here from Palmižana marina, enjoying numerous botanical plants and open-air art exhibition, or grab a mooring buoy for a whole-day lounging.
Jet-set Hvar town
Hvar town is known as the “Croatian St. Tropez”, full of clubs and bars. Take a water taxi to avoid dealing with traffic, and take in the sights, including the fort above the town, where the dungeons await.
Day 5
St. Clement to Vrboska, Hvar
Cruising east along Hvar’s northern shore will take you alongside the Golden Horn beach on Brač island, reaching the narrow inlet at Vrboska. Croatians know Vrboska as ‘Little Venice’, and when you arrive you’ll soon spot the resemblance. Walk the waterfront and explore the network of streets at Vrboska, or pull up a seat in a waterside restaurant for some delicious Croatian cuisine.

Day 6
Vrboska to Bobovišća, Brač
Complete your tour of the Dalmatian islands with a return visit to verdant Brač. Back out on the Adriatic, you’ll squeeze through the “Gate of Split Channel” to find the town of Bobovišća on the western end of Brač island, hidden at the end of a long, shimmering bay. The town has been built around an attractive forking inlet, both of which sides have numerous mooring buoys. Stop for dinner in a single local restaurant or take a taxi into the Brač’s inland to discover more about its tradition.

Day 7
Bobovišća to Marina Agana
It’s a short journey from Bobovišća back to our base at Marina where you need to arrive no later than 5 pm, so take the time to enjoy your final day and do a little more exploring. Visit Krknjaši Lagoon for a long lunch break in picturesque surroundings, or stop at the ancient fortified town of Trogir on your way back to marina Agana. With so much to see along the Dalmatian Coast, you’ll want to make the most of any hours you have left.
